Cast Par-tay, Danish Food and Spring Sunshine!

So, this weekend was quite fun and beautiful! On Saturday after noon we had our long- overdue cast party for "Alice in Wonderland". I had such a great time hanging out with my awesome students. These are the kids that make all the nonesense and headaches worth it!
With Briana who played the White Rabbit With Carol who was in the ensemble, I love this girl!

Th cast at the Par-tay!

What teaching jr. high can do to a person...

Then on Sunday I made Danish Food with my friend, Toffer- We made Nye kartofler g AErte Salat and Snapse Krydet Svine Morbrad. It was very tasty if I do say so myself!

The finished product!

But, it wasn't without mishap, we burned the potatoes.

Then Toffer spilled his water on the table....
But, still a great dinner!
Then on Monday afternoon, I went to Temple Square to take some pictures of the flowers. And I was pleased with how lovely they turned out! How I love spring!

My favorite one!

Spring is here! Hip Hip Hooray!
No more snow for us today!
Flowers bloom and birdies sing!
I wonder what tomorrow will bring?
A happy smile and dancing for all!
It won't be cold until the fall!
(hopefully...)

Just breathing.

Life is often unexpected. And constantly surprising.

I love the people that Heavenly Father has given me in my life. We are all a part of something amazing. And although life often seems unbearable, it's amazing what a smile, a conversation a shoulder can do to make it all OK.

I know this is cheesy, I am just a little overwhelmed right now. Overwhelmed by the knowledge that my Heavenly Father knows me so perfectly, that he puts precisely the right people in my path. I am so grateful we don't have to go through this mortal journey alone.

So, thank you. All of you- for listening to my incessant ramblings. For loving and believing in me. For the laughter, the dancing, the singing and the acting like goons. For the quiet moments, the tears shed and wiped away. Trying to understand me amidst all of my wackiness. Thank you for sharing my life. I am a better person because of you.

How to survive in a world of technology...

I must admit, I haven't the first clue about how technology works... RAM, ROM Romulans, they're all the same to me. I use technology, and when it doesn't work, I merely get frustrated and want to throw it all the wall in hopes that it will miraculously work.
This morning, I wanted to put some new songs on my i-pod and change my workout mix, so I plugged it into my computer and i-tunes wouldn't recognize it. So, I fiddled with the i-pod and noticed it wasn't charging and even though it said DO NOT DISCONNECT, I disconnected it. I tried re-booting the computer, going to the apple tech support website. The #1 instruction was to restart your i-pod. So I tried, but the i-pod seemed frozen... Argh!
So, I went into the apple store and told the technician my i-pod was frozen. I handed it to him and he proceeded to turn it off (WHA? I had tried to do that!) Then he turned it back on and it worked... So either I am technologically incompetent, or I met a wizard.
Yeah, that's it, he definitely was a wizard!
