Ms. Parkes goes to Europe! (A brief overview of her awesome trip!)

On July 1st I started my whirlwind trip of Europe!
At Notre Dame with Amy (who lives in Paris!)

Day Two- July 2nd-
At the gates of Versailles

My heat rash (not fun, it was VERY hot that day and that combined with jet lag... hoo boy!)

At the Queen's Hamlet at Versailles
(a place where Marie Antionette would go "play" peasant.)

Day Three- July 3rd-
At St. Chapelle

I was perplexed by the Parisian Cafe's and how all the seats would be turned out so the diners could view the passing public...
Day Four- July 4th- Travel to Munich, Germany

Day Five- July 5th-

Neuschwanstein Castle (Unfortunatley covered with scaffolding for a remodel)
Day Seven- July 7th- Day trip to Salzburg, Austria

"Sound of Music"
At the Sound of Music Gazebo (Unfortunaltey we couldn't go inside, too many people hurt themselves trying to reinact "16 going on 17".
Day Eight- July 8th- Last day in Germany-
Memorial at Dachau concentration camp

Day Nine- July 9th- Danmark!
Eating my 1st Danish meal!

Day Ten- July 10th-

Day Eleven- July 11th- Last day In Danmark

Day Twelve- July 12th- Back to Paris

After spending a day of travel, we spent the evening at Disneyland Paris

Day Thirteen- July 13th-

Day Fourteen- July 14th-

Glory be and the saints be praised, I found a Dr. Pepper!

Day Fifteen- July 15th- Last day!

So, there ya have it folks, a brief overview of my trip! And it really is a small world after all!

Excccellent!!! I'm glad everything went well (more or less!) After you've rested a bit, send me some of those pics of Munich so that I can include them in my next blog update (and tell Brandi to do the same).

What an incredible trip!!! I'm oozing jealousy right now. My sister and I went to Germany with our grandparents when we were in high school, and it was marvelous. I love the Haufbrauhouuaeus. (I didn't know which vowels that word ended with, so I just put all of them.) And castles! Castles everywhere! Don't you love the history of King Ludwig? He was so cool and nutty! Thanks for sharing your trip with us. Love it.

What an awesome trip!!!!! Great pictures and I really appreciated the "Glory be and the saints be praised" comment. I've been using that myself :)
