I must admit, I haven't the first clue about how technology works... RAM, ROM Romulans, they're all the same to me. I use technology, and when it doesn't work, I merely get frustrated and want to throw it all the wall in hopes that it will miraculously work.
This morning, I wanted to put some new songs on my i-pod and change my workout mix, so I plugged it into my computer and i-tunes wouldn't recognize it. So, I fiddled with the i-pod and noticed it wasn't charging and even though it said DO NOT DISCONNECT, I disconnected it. I tried re-booting the computer, going to the apple tech support website. The #1 instruction was to restart your i-pod. So I tried, but the i-pod seemed frozen... Argh!
So, I went into the apple store and told the technician my i-pod was frozen. I handed it to him and he proceeded to turn it off (WHA? I had tried to do that!) Then he turned it back on and it worked... So either I am technologically incompetent, or I met a wizard.
Yeah, that's it, he definitely was a wizard!
